WELFARE.
INFANT WELFARE.
Notification of Births.— Fourteen hundred and twenty-one
notifications of births were received during the year.
By medical practitioners 350

Infant Welfare Clinics.
1. Park House Clinic, Granleigh Road, Leytonstone— Mondays,
Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 1.45 p.m. Toddler's
Clinic, Tuesdays, 10 a.m.
2. Leyton Green Clinic, Leyton Green Road.— Mondays,
Wednesdays and Fridays, at 1.45 p.m. Toddler's Clinic,
Fridays, 10 a.m.
During the year under review, the total attendances at the
Council's Infant Welfare Centres were 17,825, an increase of 1,605
compared with the figure (16,220) for the previous year. The
number of children examined by the Clinic Medical Officers was
6,674 as compared with 6,323 examined during the previous year.
