Council (General Powers) Act, 1954, for the supply of new dustbins.
In all cases the Notices were complied with.
WOODWORM AND OTHER PESTS
The Public Health Inspectors made 238 inspections as a result of
requests from residents for advice and assistance in ridding premises
of insect pests, and where requested to do so staff of the Department
undertook the necessary disinfestation.
Altogether 31 premises were disinfested of woodworm; 7 of
cockroaches; one of emits; and one of wild bees. Twenty-four wasps
