TUBERCULOSIS
The number of new notification of Tuberculosis
occurring in the Borough continued to fall, there being
72 new cases in 1960. Full investigation of all new
cases and their treatment is carried out by the local
Chest Physician and her staff.
There were only nine deaths of Woolwich residents
from Tuberculosis in 1960, compared with 14 in the
previous year.
