TUBERCULOSIS
There was again an appreciable reduction in new cases
of Tuberculosis notified in the Borough; the total in 1959
being 86. During the past six years the number of new
cases notified has been halved. Pull investigation and
treatment is carried out by the local Chest Physician and
her staff. Clinics are held regularly at Maxey Road,
Plumstead, and at Carnecke Gardens, Eltham.
