Maternal Deaths.
There were no maternal deaths during the year, and none during the previous
year.
Inquests.
There were 66 inquests held on Woolwich residents during the year and 358
post-mortems on Woolwich residents were carried out on behalf of the Coroner.
Infant Mortality.
The infant death rate was 22.9 compared with 21.4 in 1952.
