In London the local authority is the Metropolitan Borough Council concerned
and in Woolwich the Medical Officer of Health, the Chief Sanitary Inspector and
three Sanitary Inspectors have been appointed officers under the Act.

During the year Regulations affecting Beef (1931), Cauliflower and Broccoli
(1934) and Cream Cheese (1935) were revoked.
No offences were discovered during the year.
Sophistication of food.—The following Table No. 68 gives details of the
various analyses made under the food and Drugs (Adulteration) Act, Public Health
(Condensed Milk) Regulations, Public Health (Dried Milk) Regulations, and the
Public Health (Preservatives, etc., in food) Regulations.
