It will be noted that in only four instances was there a count in excess of the
prescribed standards.
Dried and Condensed Milks.—Three samples of condensed milk and five samples
of dried milk were examined. The appropriate Regulations were being complied
with in every respect.
Artificial Cream Act, 1929.—This Act has for its object the regulation of the
manufacture and sale of artificial cream. The Council are required to keep a
register of all premises (with certain exceptions) where artificial cream is manufactured,
sold, exposed or kept for sale. One shop was placed on the register
during the year.
