Excluding duplicates, 209 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis and 33 cases of
non-pulmonary tuberculosis were notified. Cases of tuberculosis are often notified
more than once, and this fact accounts for 55 duplicate notifications received
during the year. The following table shows the actual number of new cases notified
during the year and the corresponding case rates.
