Maternal Mortality.— The number of deaths from Puerperal Sepsis was 4, and
from other accidents and diseases of pregnancy, 2, making a total of 6 maternal
deaths; 2 less than in 1931. The maternal death rate per 1,000 births was 2.92 as
against 3.71 in 1931.
