An application from the owner of a house for a report that the house was in
a reasonable state of repair was granted. No decision was reached in six similar
applications from the owners of hutments at the end of the year.
New Houses.—The following Table, No. 49, shows the number of certificates
of a proper and sufficient supply of water for new houses granted by the Public
Health Committee at each of their meetings. All were in respect of houses built
by private enterprise.
