(6) Health Talks to School Children.—Since 1928, when the first series of these
talks was inaugurated, they have been given monthly during the winter months.
At first they were only given at the Town Hall, Woolwich, but in 1930 a start was
made at Eltham. The general programme is as follows:—an Assistant Medical
Officer talks on a suitable health subject for some 15 minutes and then two or three
health cinematograph films are shown.
