xi. Adoptive Acts, By-Laws and Regulations Relating
to Public Health in Force in the District.
Adoptive Acts. The Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts,
1899-1923, have been adopted by the Council. During the
year, the Borough Treasurer tells me, the Council made 368
advances to purchasers of houses in accordance with the
provisions of these Acts.
In the Annual Report for 1927, a list was given of the
By-laws and Regulations made under various Acts, with the
dates of their adoption. As no deletions or additions were
made in this list during the year, it has not been considered
necessary to repeat it this year.
