ing a case or when they suspect an insured person is suffering
from tuberculosis, and the latter is a quarterly report on
patients receiving domiciliary benefit. The extent to which
these Regulations are complied with may be gauged by the
fact that approximately 1,200 reports should have been
received. The marked difference in the number of the two
forms returned is probably due to the fact that copies of
G.P. 36 are sent out from the Dispensary each quarter,
whereas G.P. 17 is supplied from Insurance sources to practitioners
direct. As a letter offering the services of the Tuberculosis
Officer is sent to each medical practitioner whenever
a notification is received, from the Dispensary point of view
little is lost by the non.completion of G.P. 17.
