Dental Treatment. Dental work is carried on at the
School Clinic, Brewer Street. Mothers and children are
referred there from the centres. The following Table, No.
74, shows the cases attending and the total attendances during
the year. The number of sessions was 28, excluding anaesthetic
days.

Dentures are provided free, at part cost, or at cost price,
according to ability to pay, and payment is spread over
many weeks. In consequence, the income received during
the year includes money received in respect of dentures
supplied in previous years. 25 sets (complete or partial) of
artificial teeth were supplied during the year at a total cost
of £101 10s. Payments by patients amounted to £76 2s. 6d.
Institutional Midwifery. The British Hospital for Mothers
and Babies is a voluntary hospital with 42 beds. The Council's
arrangements with the hospital were fully reported on
in the Annual Report for 1925. During the year, 144 cases
were admitted under the Council's scheme, and the amount
recovered in patients' fees during the year was £522 8s. l0d.
The nett cost to the Council was £981 11s. 2d., 50 per cent,
of which was recoverable from the Ministry of Health. I am

the following information, which shows statistically the
number of cases dealt with during the year:—
