MEAT.
The Department has continued to give systematic
attention to the meat supply of the Borough, not only at the
slaughterhouses, but also in the butchers' shops and stalls.
The Public Health (Meat) Regulations, 1924, are proving of
great value in improving the conditions under which meat is
handled, stored, and sold, and the inspectors find that they
can use the regulations as a text book for the progressive
education of all concerned in the handling of meat. A
