SECTION VII. SANITARY ADMINISTRATION.
This section of the Report deals statistically with the work
of the Sanitary Inspectors and Sanitary Administration, and
has been prepared by the Chief Sanitary Inspector.
The Ministry of Health, in a circular dealing with the
contents, and arrangement, of annual reports of Medical
Officers of Health, request that a list of adoptive acts, by-laws,
and local regulations relating to public health in force in the
district, with date of adoption, should be given.
ADOPTIVE ACTS, BY-LAWS AND REGULATIONS
RELATING TO PUBLIC HEALTH IN FORCE
IN THE DISTRICT.
Adoptive Acts. The Small Dwellings Acquisition Act,
1899, was adopted by the Council in 1901. During 1924, the
Borough Treasurer tells me, the Council made 158 advances
to purchasers of houses in accordance with the provisions of
this Act.
The following is a List of By-laws and Regulations made
under the various Acts, with date of adoption:—
