There are no other hospitals in the Borough subsidised by
the local authority or by the London County Council. The
following institutions are available for general treatment:—

Eltham Cottage Hospital 22
Woolwich and Plumstead Cottage Hospital 13
Military Families' Hospital 24
London general hospitals are largely used by the inhabitants
of the Borough, but no definite information is available. Some
information can be obtained, however, from the death returns
and the following Table shews the number of deaths of Woolwich
residents occurring in London general hospitals during the
vear:—
