ENTERIC FEVER.
Eleven cases of enteric fever were notified during the year.
In three cases the diagnosis was not confirmed. In the following
Table the details relating to each case are shown:—

In the series of the notified cases, three deaths occurred
but only one of them was due to enteric fever, the diagnosis of
enteric fever being not confirmed in the other two cases.
PNEUMONIA, MALARIA, DYSENTERY AND TRENCH
FEVER.
These diseases are compulsorily notifiable under the Public
Health (Pneumonia, Malaria, Dysentery, etc.) Regulations,
1919.
During the year the following number of cases were notified:
Pneumonia 354
Malaria 3
Dysentery 1
Trench fever 0
Pneumonia. All primary pneumonias, lobar or lobular,
are notifiable and the only secondary pneumonia which is
notifiable is influenzal pneumonia.
