DIPHTHERIA.
Notification. During the year 152 cases of diphtheria
were notified, compared with 437 in 1922. The case rate is
shewn in Table No. 26. The number of notifications received
each quarter was as follows:—
First quarter, 44. Third quarter, 28.
Second quarter, 49. Fourth quarter, 31.
Return Cases. All the return cases occurred in one family
and the particulars are shewn in the following Table.
