Disinfestation. The Council's Station for cleansing verminous
persons is in adjoining premises to the Disinfecting
Station. The routine followed there was described in the
Annual Report for 1919, and no change has taken place during
the year. It is to be noted that there is a continued decline
in the number of children attending this Cleansing Station
and there is little doubt that the policy of the London County
Council in treating slight verminous cases at their Minor
Ailment Centre is responsible for this fall. The following
table shows the extent to which the Station has been used
each year since 1919 :
