1,058 ; in 1920 it was 2,171; in 1921 it was 1,603.
Table No. 2 shows the number of births in 1921 in each
parish, and the respective birth-rates (after correction for
outward and inward transfers) since 1917.

Illegitimate Births. The following table, which is partly
compiled from statistics given in the Annual Reports of the
Registrar-General on Births, Deaths and Marriages, shows
