The baking of Standard Bread was commenced in
February, 1911, when to meet the demand 1,696
quarterns were produced. This produce has fallen
to the figure given above for March, 1914. I am
unable to give you the separate figures for white
and whole-meal bread ten years ago, the records at
that time having been made in the aggregate.
