in all respects reasonably fit for human habitation, and,
failing action on the part of the landlord, to themselves do
the work required. This section might be used to enforce the
repair of a wash-house copper, or of a garden fence, the
condition of which did not bring the premises under Section
2 of the Public Health (London) Act.
