in the Woolwich and Eltham Poor Law Infirmaries. 39
others were notified by the District Medical Officers of the
Poor Law Union, 13 by the Medical Officers of the -Royal
Arsenal, 184 from Hospitals and Dispensaries, including
119 from the Woolwich Tuberculosis Dispensary, and the
remainder by various social workers, applicants for .admission
to Peppard Sanatorium, and by private medical
practitioners.
£26 lis. 3d. was paid during the year for the notification
of Phthisis.
Duration. Of the 375 cases notified during 1911, at least
75 have since died, and of 196 notified during 1910, at least
87 have since died (February 1911).
