19. In Woolwich Parish the rate, 114, was far the lowest
recorded, the previous lowest being 119 in 1902. Plumstead has
four times had a lower rate, viz., in 1894, 1903, 1905, and 1906.
The rate in Eltham was higher than it has been since 1901, but
below the average of the previous ten years.
The County of London had the lowest infantile mortality
recorded.
