The Parish of Woolwich has never had so low a death-rate as
last year. Plumstead had a lower rate in 1905, and Eltham in
1902, 1903, and 1905. Central, Herbert, and Eltham wards had
the lowest death-rates. River South had the highest. The
improvement in North River Ward is noteworthy.
