Diarrhœa.
80. The deaths from diarrhœa, dysentery, and epidemic or
zymotic enteritis numbered 150, or 1.19 per thousand population,
compared with 0'82, 0 48 and 0.36 in the three preceding
years. The rate for London County was 1.02.
There were in addition 19 deaths from Enteritis and Gastroenteritis,
making a total of 169 deaths (or 47 per 1000 births),
probably due to the same disease under different names; 138
were under one year of age. The corresponding death rate in
London was 41.
81. The following table shows the death rate from all the
above-mentioned diseases per 1000 births in each ward and
parish during the past four years:—
