3. The population of each ward has been calculated on the
number of houses in the ward multiplied by the number of
persons to a house in each parish.
The following table gives for each ward the population and
number of inhabited houses at the Census, the number of persons
to a house, the number of new houses certified for water
certificates, and the present estimated population.
