Summonses taken out numbered 8 affecting seven premises in the
Borough: 2 summonses related to smoking in food premises; 2 to the sale
of bread containing foreign bodies; one to minced meat containing excess
preservative; one to non-brewed condiment containing excess lead; one to
buttered rolls, the 'butter' consisting of margarine, and one to the sale
of a meat pie which was unfit for human consumption.
