SUMMARY OF PUELIC ANALYST'S QUARTERLY REPORTS
for the year 1959.
The following is a summary of the reports submitted each quarter of
the year, in compliance with Section 99 of the Food and Drugs Act, 1955,
by the Council's Public Analyst, Mr.D.F.H.Button, A.R.C.S., F.R.I.C., of
Southwark Health Services Department, Walworth Road, S.E.17. A copy of
each quarterly report is submitted to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries
and Food, in accordance with the same section of the Act.
During the year 412 samples were submitted for analysis, 102 of whicl
were purchased or taken formally and 310 informally.
