All public health matters are dealt with by the
Public Health Committee, except those relating to public
cleansing and baths and washhouses, which are under the
control of the Public Cleansing Officer and Chief Baths
Superintendent respectively, and are dealt with by ad hoc
Committees. All housing matters are dealt with by the
Housing Committee, at which the Medical Officer of Health
represents the Public Health Department.
