Owing to the large number of mothers attending the
Lime house Infant Welfare Centre and Ante-Natal Clinic, an
extension was opened on 9th December.
The local midwives have a consulting room for their
patients at the centre.
A new Centre was also opened in Ashfield Street in
November, to replace the centre at Newark Street which
for many years was considered unsatisfactory.

SUPPLY OF MILK AND VITAMINS.

Under the National Scheme, Welfare foods have been distributed through the Infant Welfare Centres etc., as follows :-
