Enteric Fever (Typhoid and Paratyphoid).—Eleven cases of Typhoid
Fever were notified during the year. There were no deaths.
Investigation of these cases showed that they arranged themselves roughly
into three groups.
Group X.—Only one of the cases in this group was notified in 1938, but
as it was connected with 2 cases which occurred at the end of 1937 it is necessary
to trace the history of the group from September, 1937. All cases or suspected
cases in this group were members of the same family living in the
same house.
