Maternity
Outfits.
Sterilized maternity outfits are supplied at cost price through the
Municipal Ante-natal Clinic. During the year two sets were supplied.
Health Visiting There are 7 Municipal Infant Welfare Centres and 9 Voluntary Centres in
the Borough. Each Centre has its own particular area, thus there is no overlapping
in the visiting of the districts. Details of the work of the Health
Visitors and Centres are given on pages 31 and 32.
Prevention of Deafness. The arrangements were continued with the London County Council for
the treatment of children under school age, suffering from ear defects, referred
by our Maternity and Child Welfare centres. The charge is 7/- per case.
Six cases received treatment during the year.
