Legal Proceedings.
Legal proceedings were taken in 15 cases. Details of the individual
prosecutions are given later under the various headings.
Table E summarises the results and compares them with the results of

Milk.
809 samples of milk were analysed, of which 13, or 1.6 per cent., were
adulterated.
Table F shows the number of samples of milk examined and the
percentages of adulteration during the last ten years.
