Mortuary Returns
The number of bodies deposited in the Mortuary during the year was 710.
Of these 640 were removed by the Coroner, 63 by the Police, 1 by Relieving Officer,
4 at the request of friends, and 2 on my instructions. 77 bodies were placed in
Jewish Mortuary, 33 being "watched."
703 inquests were held in the Coroner's Court and 93 post-mortems were made.
