The number notified by the three voluntary tuberculosis dispensaries was 453,
of which 401 referred to Pulmonary Tuberculosis. 50 duplicate certificates were
received; these referred to cases that had been previously notified.
The number of new cases notified by the three dispensaries is a little over 32
per cent. of the total number of Pulmonary Tuberculosis, and less than 30 per cent.
of new cases of Tuberculosis of all kinds notified during the year.
