Diseases of the Respiratory Organs.
There were 930 deaths due to diseases of the Respiratory Organs-, which corresponds
to a death rate of 340 per 1,000 of the population.
208 belonged to the Limehouse District, or at the rate of 3.98 per 1,000
of the population.
191 belonged to St. George-in-the-East, or at the rate of 4.12 per 1,000
of the population.
320 belonged to Mile End Old Town, or at the rate of 2.89 per 1,000 of the

454 deaths occurred during the year from Phthisis, or 24 more than in the
