The number of deaths from Whooping Cough was 71, or 48 more than in the
previous year. This corresponds to a death rate of .25 per 1,000 of the population,
while that for the whole of London was .20 per 1,000.
13 belonged to the Limehouse District, or at the rate of .24 per 1,000 of
the population.
20 belonged to St. George-in-the-East, or at the rate of .43 per 1,000 of
the population.
26 belonged to Mile End Old Town, or at the rate of .23 per 1,000 of the
population.

the population.
