Other Tuberculous Diseases.
There were 166 deaths from Tuberculous Diseases other than Phthisis, or 29 more
than in the previous year. This corresponds to a death rate of .59 per 1,000 of the
population.
40 belonged to the Limehouse District, or at the rate of .74 per 1,000 of the
population.
40 belonged to St. George-in-the-East, or at the rate of .84 per 1,000 of
the population.
59 belonged to the Mile End Old Town, or at the rate of .52 per 1,000 of
the population.
27 belonged to the Whitechapel District, or at the rate of .40 per 1,000 of
the population.
