On February 14th, 1908. Mr. Caro, of 80, Cannon Street Road, was
summoned for failing to comply with Council's notice to cleanse the walls and
ceilings of G, Elsa Street
He was fined 40s., with 23s. costs.

On April 15th. Mr. I. Barnett, of 81, Hanbury Street, the keeper of 5,
Winthrop Street, was summoned for failing to give the Council the necessary
information for the registration of the premises.
He was fined £2 10s., with 23s. costs.

On August 27th. Messrs. Moss and Gray, of 334, Commercial Road,
were summoned for failing to comply with Council's notice to cleanse premises
at 16, Batty Street.
The work having been done at the hearing of the summons the case was
withdrawn, on payment of £2 2s. costs.
On December 22nd. Mr. Jacob Doctorsky (lodger), was summoned for
overcrowding the ground floor back room of 25, Spelman Street.
He was fined 40s., with 4s. costs.
