431 belonged to the Limehouse District, or at the rate of 7.36 per
1,000.

The number of Notifiable Diseases was 778 less than in the previous year.
The greatest number occurred, as in the previous year, during the month of

week, whereas in 1905 it was not at its maximum until the fourth week. The
greatest number notified in one week was 70, which included 44 Scarlet Fever
cases. This number was nearly reached on two other occasions, viz., the last
week in June and the last week in October when 68 cases were notified.
No Typhoid Fever cases were reported during the last week in August and
the first week in September, but afterwards the number rose, and reached its
maximum in the last week of October.
