EXAMINATION OF MILK SUPPLIED TO L.C.C. SCHOOLS
AIIP DAY NURSERIES.
32. Samples of milk were taken from supplies delivered to local schools
and day nurseries and submitted for chemical analysis, methylene blue and
phosphatase tests. All were found to conform to the required standards.
BACTERIOLOGICAL SAMPLING OF MILK.
49 Samples of pasteurised milk were submitted for phosphatase and
methylene blue tests. All samples conformed to the prescribed standard.
1 Sample of sterilised milk showed negative result to turbidity
test.
CONDENSED MILK REGULATIONS.
2 Samples of condensed milk were submitted for analysis under these
regulations and both conformed with the prescribed standard.

2. REMEDY OF DEFECTS DURING THE YEAR WITHOUT SERVICE OF NUISANCE NOTICES.

Number of premises where it was found necessary to serve Intimation Notices under the Public Health (London) Act, 1936, to abate nuisances or remedy defects799
