PIGEONS.
During the last few years the nuisance from pigeons has increased
and permission was granted to a specialist pigeon trapper to trap
pigeons causing a nuisance in the Borough. This work is carried out
without any charge to the Council and the trcpper works under the
general direction of the Chief Public Health Inspector.
NUISANCES FROM NOISE.
Several complaints regarding nuisances from noise were male
during the year. In all cases a satisfactory arrangement was made in
connection with the use of machinery after inspections had been made
by the Public Health Inspector.
FOOD HYGIENE.
Work in connection with Food Hygiene was continued throughout
the year and routine inspections at all food handling premises were
carried out.
