FACTORIES ACT, 1937.
The number of Factories on the Register at the end of 1952 was :-
Power Factories 1,121
Non-Power Factories 134
Total 1,255
During the year 132 factories were added to the Register and 85 deleted,
making a nett increase in the number of factories in the Borough of 47
