BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATIONS.
The Public Health Laboratory Service at Colindale continued to
carry out examinations of swabs, specimens, etc- on behalf of this
Council until the beginning of December when the Laboratory
established at Mile End Hospital agreed to undertake examinations of nose
and throat swab3 and faeces. This gave us the advantage of being
able to send swabs received later in the afternoon, for examination
the same day.

typhi-murium infection.
