ILLEGITIMATE DEATH RATE
Of the 52 illegitimate births, in 3 or 5.77 per cent., death occurred before the
child reached the age of one year, which corresponds to an infantile mortality rate of
58 per 1,000 births. This is a decrease as compared with 1937.
