DIARRHCEA AND ENTERITIS
During the year 30 deaths of children under two years of age from diarrhoea
and enteritis, along with associated and other conditions, were reported. This
gives a death rate of 0.37 per 1,000 population and 25.40 per 1,000 births. These
figures for Shoreditch and for London respectively are given with the corresponding
figures for children under one year of age in the following table:-
