Illegitimate Death Rate.
Of the 43 illegitimate births, in 6, or 13.95 per cent., death occurred before the
child reached the age of one year, which corresponds to an infantile mortality rate of
139 per 1,000 births. This is an increase of 116 as compared with 1935.
