The condition as to vaccination of the 24 actual cases was as follows:—
Unvaccinated 18
Vaccinated after infection 4
Vaccinated more than 10 years previously 2
Vaccinated less than 10 years previously 0
No vaccinations were performed by the Medical Officer of Health under
the Public Health (Smallpox Prevention) Regulations, 1917.
Vaccination Order.
Under this Order, as from the 1st April, 1930, the functions relating to
vaccination carried out by the Boards of Guardians were transferred to the
Borough Council, to be discharged as functions relating to Public Health.
The officers transferred were as follows:-
Vaccination Officers:
(1) Mr. S. W. Dyson (Mansfield Street Baths), Shoreditch North-
East Sub-District (Acton, Haggerston, Kingsland and Whitmore
Wards).
(2) Mr. H. W. Williams (94, New North Road), Shoreditch
South-West Sub-District (Church, Hoxton, Moorfields and
Wenlock Wards).
Public Vaccinators:
(1) Dr. L. Statnigrosch, 191, Kingsland Road, E.2 (Shoreditch
North-East District).
(2) Dr. N. H. Clubwala, 247, Kingsland Road, E.2 (Shoreditch
South-West District).
